Deformazione professionale, ho scritto targhetta perchè così si definisce nei motori nautici. Ho guardato qualche forum dove scrivono che i dati che mi interessano si trovano stampigliati sul collo del tubo imbarco olio. Dovrebbero esserci due lettere, che identificano il tipo di motore, a seguire il numero di serie. Purtroppo le lettere non ci sono e rimane il dubbio che non sia un 455 come da libretto, ma un motore più piccolo...

"The block casting number is found at the front top of the block just behind the water pump, to the right of the oil pressure sender unit. On this engine its 396021F - This casting number was used between 1968 and 1972 and is the most common big block type for the Olds 455 engine."

Qualcuno cortesemente può indicarmi i termini tecnici in lingua madre per ricercare i seguenti pezzi per il 455?
- bilanciere (rocker arm?)
asta ????
Punteria idraulica?????
Ho un' asta piantata che blocca bilanciere e valvola e vorrei acquistare su Rock o su Olds le parti nuove, ma mi sfuggono i termini tecnici per la ricerca.

Ciao, i bilancieri sì sono i rocker arms. Le aste sono push rods, le punterie sono valve lifters, nel tuo caso hydraulic.
