Secondo me ? questione di gusti.
? interessante:
In the 1970's, the Lincoln Mark was THE car to own, with the Eldorado second. Unlike today, 2 doors were all the rage, especially the personal luxury coupe. A 2 door meant you were a swinging single or at least had enough money to buy a special adults only car for when the kids and the family truckster were left at home. Four doors were for big families or old people that didn't like the heavy doors on a 2 door. Both uncool at the time. The Mark was the king of luxury coupes, at least here in the Chicago area. There were many companies that offered aftermarket Continental humps and opera windows so that you could dress up everything from your Torino and Monte Carlo to a Pinto. You just didn't see many Mercedes or BMW's back then, and most people weren't impressed when they did see one.
Too bad things aren't like that anymore. Lincoln lost its cache in the 1980's and never got it back.
