Here is a true Hot Rod Survivor! This a nice original 1940 Ford Standard Coupe! This coupe has been stored away since 1972 were it has been in a private collection. This car was built back in the late 50s with a nice Hot Rod look! The car is very straight and solid! The doors open and close like day one, actually better than my new truck! The trunk is the same way, opens like new. The trunk floor is pretty nice with some very light rust in the upper center, the rear pan is very nice, very light rust, even has the wood to cover it yet. The front floors are nice, do have a patch as you can see and a couple spots need a little work. These old 40s will always need a little work in the floors that is just part of there design. This car I drove onto the trailer last year when i picked it up. The car will need to be gone through before you drive it around town, go through the brakes etc. The body is nice, has nice trim, doors are solid, has good glass windows that roll up and down. Front grille is nice and the hood is nice as well. Dash is very nice with a deluxe clock glove department door that was added back in the 50s. Interior is original. For a Hot Rod look they put the shifter on the floor instead of the column, Just a nice custom look. This is a great car and nice survivor! You dont come across them this nice in original condition anymore. This is the black paint that it was painted back in the 1950s. This car would be great to leave original and drive and enjoy. The car is all original not taken apart or worked on! This is what the old moonshiners used for running back in the day this exact car, kinda cool.
